Questions

Where does 12.07% come from?
From 5.6 weeks of statutory holiday a year: 5.6 ÷ (52 − 5.6) = 12.07%. For every hour you work, you build up 0.1207 hours of holiday.
Who can be paid rolled-up holiday pay?

Is it on top of my hourly rate?
Yes. It’s paid in addition to your pay for the hours you worked, and it has to be shown as a separate item on your payslip. At £12.71 an hour, 30 hours pays £381.30 plus £46.02 of holiday pay.
Does PayJar add it for me?
Yes. Turn on holiday pay in Settings and PayJar adds 12.07% to each shift’s pay, premiums included, on its own line.
